Bio
Βorn in 1999 in Heraklion, Crete, Greece.
Based in Athens, Greece and The Hague, Netherlands.
Currently pursuing a MMus in Composition at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, she has previously studied Composition at the Athens Conservatoire from where she graduated with a Diploma in Composition with Honors - First Prize & the Dimitris Dragatakis Memorial Prize.
She holds diplomas in Piano and Advanced Music Theory, having also studied Orchestral Conducting.
Among the various works, the chamber opera Charlotte: operOtic monodrama, staged at the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera (2024), stands out.
She has collaborated with organisations such as the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera, the Dutch National Opera Opera Forward Festival, the National Theatre of Greece, the Musica Sacra Festival Maastricht, the Athens State Orchestra, the Danstheater Amare Den Haag, the AENAON String Quartet, the Centre for Contemporary Music Research, the Third Program of Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation etc.
She has participated in workshops including the Young Composers Workshop (2021, Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera) with Greek-American composer George Tsontakis, the Pilot Contemporary Music Workshop of the Athens State Orchestra (2024, Anargyrios and Korgialenios School of Spetses), and the New Ideas – New Creators Workshop (2025, Experimental Stage of the National Theatre of Greece).
As a researcher her thesis From Score to Stage: International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) as a Bridge Between Greek-Language Opera and International Performance focuses on how the use of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), in combination with production practices, can improve the performance, reception and international dissemination of Greek-language opera, music-theatre and vocal works.
She is a founding member of the music theatre group Arte Libera, dedicated to producing and promoting original contemporary music-theatre projects free from aesthetic dogmatism.
She teaches Advanced Music Theory and Composition at the Athaeneum Conservatory in Athens.
She is a regular member of the Greek Composers Union.
